  7. I feel like there is a sadness hanging over my backyard patio and garden. Even on sunny and warmer days it is very obvious that summer has ended. I appreciate any time I am able to spend outdoors even more now than I did in July or August, knowing that soon the ground here in Minnesota will all be covered in snow.

  8. Merisi,
When I saw the second picture on your post today, I thought, "That's where I want to be today!".....love the evening light, the water, and the relaxed atmosphere of sitting at an umbrella table, enjoying the end of summer. Great photos!

    Seamus,
the memory of that summer evening will have to last through the cooler seasons.

    Hilary,
    me too! ;-)

    Sue,
    thank you.
I am glad I have these memories.

    Kurwenal,
the light at that lake is something special, not only at sunset!

    Eileen,
I went through those same feelings!

    Allie,
I would want nothing more than hanging out there with you!

  10. Yes, the lake is starting to look chilly!
In NY it is still really warm. In England it was mostly blissful sun with one rainy day.
I think it is still hot in Maroc.
I always love coming to your blog.
