Wow! I would like to be there too!
White and blue gets me every time.
I know this house! I have photographed it some time ago, the photos are still waiting to "finish" on my blog...
It's on my bicycle route.
I prefer Klimptian blue to Yves Kleinien blue any day of the week!
How very beautiful, I would love to live in a house like that.
Me too! :-)
Neat windows. Reminds me of some houses in the Garden district here.
It would not be wrong to call Hietzing a garden district.
Merisi, this bluebird house is so charming. I wonder now about its interior's charms....I would like to imagine the bluebird finding the perfect quiet moment, when no photographers might be in the neighborhood, and then...quickly popping over to sample an apricot!Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the apricot pizza in the prior post surely looks scrumptious, and that I am curious about you buttermilk squash soup recipe. Is a blender involved? Our New York summer has now briefly reverted to a more manageable heat level. We can now breathe more easily! xo
Frances,I think the bluebird is not too often in a photographer's eye, it's on a very quiet street. The apricots were very tempting. I used an immersion blender for the buttermilk squash soup (I cooked the onions and squash in the microwave). We are back to cooler nights too. Stay cool,Merisi
Merisi, how wonderful to know that the bluebird lives on a quiet street.Thank you so much for the soup details. I love all the summer squash and might have to try some version of my own.Today was a truly perfect summer day. xo
What a lovely house! I love the blue trim and the apricots! Such beautiful blue skies as well! Great shots for the day, Merisi! Hope your week is going well!Sylvia
Thank you, Sylvia, wonderful summer days to you too!
Oh, I love that blue!
How very pretty and what an adorable shade of blue.
Thank you all! :-)
What a beautiful building. Can't help but adore the artwork. The colors are so clean and crisp looking.
It is a gem! :-)
I would be keeping an eye on those apricots too. They are golden and gorgeous. Love the little bird.
You would not believe how many apricot trees I have spotted lately! ;-)
These are lovely clean, crisp shots of the Bluebird House and also of the blue sky above the apricot tree.
Thank you, Pat! :-)
Thank you for taking the time to leave a note.
