ReplyDeleteWell Merisi, I look at these pictures and just wonder if I am seeing colors that truly do exist in nature. Well, of course they do!
ReplyDeleteI met a beautiful lady in the shop today who also had a marvelous sense of color. She lives in Vienna! She visits Demel's and highly praises its hot chocolate.
Somehow, my very tired mind connects your impossibly beautiful photo colors with the verification of the wonderful joys of Demel's.
And the result ... I can't wait to see what you will be posting next time. xo

ReplyDeleteI have stopped at this place numerous times, on my way from Vienna to Bad Ischl. It is about 2 hours and 10 minutes away from Vienna, and when I left Tuesday shortly before 5pm I hoped I had a chance to pass there before the sun went down. I arrived just in the nick of time, and it helped knowing where to park and where to run to get this images. ;-)
If you click the label "Traunsee" and then scroll down to the bottom, you find a post with images from the same spot, only those were taken shortly after sunrise on a September morning.
Clicking on the label "Salzkammergut" will give you an assortment of images of places around that beautiful region of Austria.

The sky was that blue, it was such a bright morning, and the blue skies were with me all the way back to Vienna.
The light in the Salzkammergut Region is gorgeous on sunny days, as it is in Vienna. Generally so, in Austria, as far as I have experienced it so far.
i remember this spot...and it's absolutely gorgeous, as is most of Austria. beautiful photos.
