Painting the Town blue
One Nail at a time

The Enns River
Donner Fountain
Neuer Markt

The sweater I discovered
only when I looked at the photo,
that dot of blue, though, had caught my attention
immediately.

  1. Merisi, how long do you think that dot of blue will stay where it is? Funny to also discover the sweater.

Ahh, let me send a little greeting to that very sweet dog in the prior post.

I am now reading William Boyd's Waiting for Sunrise, and thank you for your marvelous photos that help me to imagine the setting. My own stay in Vienna was so long ago that my visual memories are a bit cloudy now.

    1. Frances,
now you really tempt me to get Boyd's newest book sooner than I planned (too many unread fiction books around my place already).
I'll keep an eye on that little dot! ;-)

    1. That's what a 50mm lens does to you: you get really close. ;-)

  3. I still haven't found the dot of blue but I spotted the sweater right away.

Well, I see blue in two areas...am I wrong?

    1. I am still not over the fact that I did not see the sweater at all when I shot the picture! ;-)

Now I am really curious where you found the second blue spot! ;-)

Some caring soul must have thought the same, and left the sweater! ;-)

  5. I love this, the sweater and the blue dot! How funny that you spotted the tiny thing before taking the photo, and the larger thing only after.

    1. I had a good chuckle when I spotted it. Would love to know the perpetrator (I sure hope it was not one of my kids!).
