One last coffee
while basking in the golden glow
of the October sun
one more time
before the curtain falls
and the bonfires
carry our summer dreams
through that thin wall
into the Otherworld

Lovely, Merisi. My son, Jeremy, and his girlfriend, Katie ( who has a BS in design engineering ) went off with friends to spend the night in San Francisco, in the cutest costumes. I hope the Westin St. Francis appreciated them.ReplyDelete
Enjoy youe seasonal coffee! Mine's a bottle of zweigelt ;-)ReplyDelete
I love your eye for detail and for the play of light. Your American Halloween dinners sound so civilized and charming! - the perfect response to what has become a very commercialized event. I think I prefer the European tradition of All-Hallows Eve, though I've come to love our annual pumpkin carving ritual here in England with local children that I've just posted about.ReplyDelete
Best Halloween wishes to you, Merisi! The tradition of the thin veil has long fascinated me.ReplyDelete
It's wonderful! I love all kinds of coffee, speciallly a great capuccino...hum....
Happy Hallowe'en, Merisi (it still is Hallowe'en here:)ReplyDelete
Ah, the last golden light of October . . . and now I'm but ten minutes from the witching hour...ReplyDelete
Happy All Hallows, Merisi!

Diese Art blogging ist eine neue Kunstform.

You really should make a coffee table book of your coffee cup photographs....they are so wonderful !! Have a great week!!ReplyDelete
What gorgeous cups of coffee!!!ReplyDelete
I was hesitating going off to the pool as usual, but these make me want to dive right in!
If only I did dive...
Your cups of coffee are like none other :)ReplyDelete
Wow, the light is spectacular in these. Nice work!ReplyDelete
And now I need coffee. (This happens when I visit you!)
I was just scanning over all your lovely photographs! Thanks for inspiring me today!ReplyDelete
