"Einfahrt" is located
at the entrance (Einfahrt) to an
underground parking garage.
There's also a "Café Garage"
somewhere in Vienna.
Guess what's next to it! ;-)

The Big P
Palmers is Austria's largest textile company,
manufacturing lingerie since 1914:
The gold lettering on "Palmers green" background carried
the company through almost a century,
until a few years ago
when they decided to shed their once laid-back image for good
and go with a more subdued olive green,
the better to offset their nowadays more risqué designs.

The big P with the crown! What a superb graphic design. And all the other pictures make me want to visit your city. Your photos are piercing--because they show your love for the city, and also the clear eyes with which you view her.
ReplyDeleteThere was a restaurant call MG Garage in Sydney and the customers sat in there surrounded by cars. It lasted about as long as you would expect it to.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see a funkier side of Vienna. I don't think I'll be shopping at Palmers!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors! I love that building that's the shade of orange sherbet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post!! Playful photo subjects as opposed to the usual tranquil elegance...Love all the vivid colors!! Your photographic tours are ALWAYS a delight, Merisi! Loved this! ~Janine XO
