Oh, the colors in these photos are simply divine!!! Photographic still life!!! You are exceptional, Merisi. I'm always in awe!!! Have a wonderful weekend! With much love, Janine XO
Heavy rains round midday kept me away from the apples at the Union Square farmers market. Otherwise, I would have some little jonagolds right here right now.
My usual grocery store stocks those too-large apples, so I really treasure the opportunity to visit the farmers and their tinier apples. Next chance at Union Sq. will be midday Monday. Hoping for a dry lunch break!
Our farmers' markets here in New England are just finishing up for the season, about to close until Spring, with maybe a brief Christmas run selling wreaths and trees. We've got pumpkins, mums, and cornstalks, with many apple pies from the harvest lingering on the shelves now.
Such lovely colors--hardly looks like autumn at all! Cannot believe they sell Jon-a-Golds in Austria...something new to learn every day.
