  2. I really like the camera angles used in your photos today. I need to use more angles while shooting to make things more interesting.

  3. Such delicate filigree work. Love that kind of stuff. So alien to my abilities.

  5. Indicaspecies,
    thank you!
How do you like to drink your coffee?

    Celestial Charms,
angles are often a necessary means to compose a picture which otherwise might not work at all.

    Charles Gramlich,
    in my case it's easy,
all I need to do is push the shutter. ;-)

    Bridget,
I'll have more of these beautiful figurines! :-)

  7. Love the camera angles and the coffee looks just perfect. I like a bit of whip creme and a touch of cinnamon during the holidays for coffee :D You certainly make Vienna seem so magical.

  10. Merisi, these pictures are so helpful ... they keep me thinking that it really is Christmastime.

Somehow, Vienna has a timeless way to keep good spirits alight.

  11. I love your December Viennese posts. The photos make it look ornate and festive, but enchantingly so. Things have gotten so crass and overdone here in the states that it is more unpleasant than not much of the time.

Your view seems so much more appropriately magical...

  18. Dear readers,
I read every single comment, and I will try to answer them before the week is over, but right now I cannot do it, unless i stop publishing new posts. I hope I manage to find and publish images that bring the joy of Christmas from Vienna to you, and that in time I will be able to thank you also by visiting your blogs more regularly again.
May your days be filled with good expectations and joy,
    yours
    Merisi

  19. How do I like my coffee? Just like I like my men..er..man. Strong.
    LOL

Merisi, I wake up with coffee, I work with coffee, I live with coffee, and I like my coffee in any form. But it's best when its Espresso style and frothy on top. Just like you post your delectable pictures here.:)
