I told one of my kids that I'm tempted to go with the new trend.
Well, she definitely is a traditionalist. ;-)

    Really like the upside down trees. The sideways ones, not so much... How do they attach them to the ceiling?

    I see it the same way.
    The genius of the upside down tree lies also in the fact that you get a better view of the ornaments.
    No idea how the attach them to the ceiling.
