Gorgeous pictures, Merisi, but it's Max who's stolen my heart! He looks right at home here, as you say, this well-travelled habitué of Viennese kaffeehauser.
I need one of those wooden sticks. Great shots :)
Even a glass of water gets a silver tray. That's fine dining.
Your beautiful photos make me feel I was there. Thank you!
My mother visited Germany years ago and was enchanted by the beautiful little long-haired dachshunds in nice restaurants, waiting quietly under their owner's chairs. What a beauty Max is!
Love, love, LOVE dear, sweet Max! I grew up with dachshunds......such wonderful dogs and great companions.
My brother-in-law is taking my sister-in-law to Vienna for their 25th wedding anniversary in the spring. I've sent them a link to your site because there's no better place to learn about the true comings and goings of your beautiful city.
Happy Sunday, Merisi!

ah, the beautiful Viennese coffee house stories. what a joy for this agitated Monday :)
A lovely post from Merisi, as always... though I'm not hugely impressed by the BBC correspondent. Rather an obvious report.
oh, merisi, i want to come to vienna and play!
Truely elegant!
and so golden...
Of course Maxie is the star!
What a fun blog to visit when one is a lover of coffee. I like the dog too.
I'd love to read those papers!
