An almost New York Girl,
a Viennese Fiaker Horse, and a Yellow Cab
on Friday afternoon in downtown Vienna
About half the cars passing by
stopped or offered to stop -
gentlemen and ladies all the way -
while the other half were speeding through
as if they were driving on 5th Avenue

Where would the world be without New York?
But she's missing the obligatory cuppa coffee and a donut/bagel..?

Hum? A yellow cab?ReplyDelete
Wonder where I've seen one of those!
Have a lovely weekend.
I remember New York nights, watching from the 25th floor Broadway being taking over by millions of Yellow Cabs at 11 PM, when theaters closed. ;-)Delete
Love how the pattern on the dress picks up the pattern on the cab!ReplyDelete
The pattern of the dress and the design on the cab immediately caught my eye!ReplyDelete
It really hit the spot, er, checkers. ;-)Delete
Cool! I like the title! :-)ReplyDelete
I must have The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in the back of my mind.
What a fun shot! Cool indeed, Merisi!! I love it!! Enjoy your weekend!ReplyDelete

I love the expression on that young lady's face. Lovely photograph.ReplyDelete
She has nerves of steel, with the back to traffic, and the fiaker horses approaching. ;-)Delete
