-> Each Peach Pear Plum,
by Janet and Alan Ahlberg,
still one of my favorite children's book:
In this book
With your little eye
Take a look
and play "I spy"

  1. They are a pretty sight! Peaches only grow in a limited area in my province here.

  2. I hear beautiful music!

  3. Dear Merisi, thank you for introducing me to Each Peach Pear Plum.
    I am going to have a look for that book...but I think that seeing what your photograph has shown us here is perhaps better than any book could be.

  4. you just brightened up a snowy cold Sunday Morning here in Michigan

  5. Thank you all for your kind comments!
    A wonderful Sunday and week ahead to all of you,

  6. For my many years with young children, I kept Each, Peach handy for reading.........theirs or MINE! It is clever and sweet, and encourages the eye and the mind. Thanks, Merisi, for this wonderful wake-up memory!

    1. Wonderful to have found another reader who loves this beautiful children's book! I enjoyed also the other Ahlberg books, but Each Peach is my favorite.

  7. I have those exact trees in my garden! Here on Long Island, they still have bare branches, with just a hint of buds and blossoms yet to come...

  8. I am collecting names of books and book for my grandson as he loves to be read to

  9. In "The Peach Blossom Journey", a poem by Wang Wei, the world through the eyes of an ancient Chinese mystic are revealed. In a series of images that begin to question the nature of reality itself.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a note.
