Love it! The colours and patinas are beautiful and the view inside quite engaging. Perfect for one of those puzzles where you have to find things! Can't find Wally though....
I agree with Frances ... I will have to reflect on why I feel the graffiti is a shame while the the store front is obviously in need of new paint ... but I do agree .. the need for new paint may be due to neglect or hardship ... but the graffiti is due to lack of respect.
I imagine it being quite tough staying in business in Venice. Isn't the patina we love so much in Old World cities? Graffiti, of course, are the bane of beauty.
Great theme day post for Ageing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim! :-)

ReplyDeleteYeah, where is Wally? Gondola riding? ;-)
DeleteLovely. I wish someone would spray over the graffiti.
ReplyDeleteI seem to spot some previous attempts at overpainting the graffiti.
DeleteLook's like any effort to do so is futile, unfortunately.
The storefront is a beauty, except for that graffiti. I bet that William Morris wouldn't find it useful or beautiful.

The graffiti is offensive, to say the least.
