I am not sure where the headline comes from. It popped into my head, I thought it was from Emily Dickinson, but was unable to find it.
I had just stepped out of Cafe' Prückel, when I noticed that the city had taken on a special glow from the evening light. It took me quite a while to capture this picture. I had to hold the branch with one hand and stand on my toes on the steps leading to the Luger monument, branch and me fighting against the wind.
Well done for your dedication to get the photo you wanted. I have done the same thing and have also dropped down to lie on the ground to take a photo. Can't help myself.
It worked out though - absolutely beautiful. Captures that glow.
Das ist schon fast überirdisch schön, absolut wundervoll - das musste ich heute abend einfach noch mal sagen und der Titel könnte nicht besser dazu passen ...
einen traumhaften Start in die neue Woche für Dich,
Your extra effort to get the shot paid off.....the colors are marvelous! Not only do you have an eye for composition, but your eye for lighting is incredible, Merisi. Well done!! ~Allie
Merisi...this is spectacular! What a capture! And the forsythia makes this glow! You are so extraordinary! I'm always in awe when I visit here...Love, Janine XO

That photo---and that title---are just perfect. They capture exactly that feeling of spring's arrival, after a cold dark winter.
