Against the Dearth of Monday Poems

is where Sunday's dreams are echoing

in the high-ceilinged chambers of your mind

Sunday's Amsel sings sweet in lilac trees
fading petals of beloved memories.

  1. Ich wollte gestern sooo gern hinfahren! Vor allem, weil es eine Pflanzenbörse gab... Aber leider, leider :-( ein anderes Mal eben

  2. Both words and images are utterly dreamy, Merisi. Sumptuous!

  3. Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Very clever Merisi! Dreamlike , a fairytale creating a feeling of a spiritual world! I love it!! Thanks.

  4. Doors
    Beckon you
    Like wide opened doors.

  5. There
    Much more
    To Mondays
    Than wide opened doors:
    White boards awaiting for stories,
New depths of breath just longing – begging - to be exhaled.

  6. Lovely pictures enhanced by the iambic pentameter!

  7. As always, beautiful imagery. Thanks, Merisi!

  8. Ooooh--that beautiful white room! Wonderful!

So beautiful! I love the sheerness of these.

  12. Oh Merisi they are so beautiful. That white just makes me feel good!

    Congrats on your AuthorBlog win...

  13. Now that is a clean, well lighted place.

  14. Such peace that it lingers and yet outruns the mind.

Occasionally when peace has to promise serenity it will take residence in the abode you photographed so well.

  15. Charles Gramlich stole my line
Of the room so clean and fine

Lovely pic of light and space
Makes me want to paint THIS place!

  16. Hello Merisi,

This Monday evening I have treated myself to a read of your most recent posts. Thank you, as always for indicating to all of us how life might be enjoyed!

Tomorrow is a day off for me, and I will try to explore my own life in the slower lane, knowing that benefits will ensue.

Will try to take my camera along.

Thank you again for sharing the beauty around you. xo

  17. All is bright and beautiful but the top picture is makes my chest hurt.

  18. Two words: shimmering elegance!

I always enjoy reading your blog! I am coming to Vienna for the first time next week- I hope it will be as beautiful as it is in your blog!

  20. Nobody has a blog like this one..I needed this's been a long day..You asked about the lens that I was using. It is the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens with image stabilization. Not the worst and not the best, but good enough for me...

You have an eye for understated elegance Merisi.
You make blogging seem effortless and Vienna seem irresistable ;-)

  22. Great images, Merisi!
What a splendid chamber and ceiling!
Have you taken a panoramic picture of the whole Palace too?

  23. That white room is just amazing as are all of the photos in this post. Like walking in a dream.

  24. Thank you all for visiting and taking the time to leave a comment!
I read all your comments and for this post I decided I will in turn visit your sites as my thank you to you! See you at your home!

I have taken pictures of the palace complex - I need a little time and an idea to weave them into a post! :-)

  25. A symphony in white.

  26. Love these bright pictures and the words are beautiful . Have a beautiful week

  27. My God, that room is spectacular...

  28. The white purity of this room is just what I need at the moment. And I would wrap myself in one of these sheer botanicals. I've just been to visit your companion's site, and oh those peonies! Always a mesmorizing visit.

  29. First Plenty Of Fish Dating Site Of Free Dating all I would like to say terrific
blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you
don't mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to
writing. I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
    Many thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a note.
