I think I once bought gloves for my husband in this shop...
ReplyDeleteSPACEDLAW,
ReplyDeletethe store is only a few steps from Freyung square. I have heard they have the best and widest selection of gloves.
I love patina, and that particular shade of green. Beautiful. I remember how much I enjoyed learning to replicate "patina" in faux finish painting when I was in design school.
ReplyDeleteAre you trying to tempt me with these yummy facades?
ReplyDeleteVienna is soooo beautiful!
I love your shots.
Very atmospheric...
Such a beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteAs you know I'm a complete sucker for patina or anything aged and textured.
A dear friend, who was looking after a little stone angel who used to live in our stream (in the LI days)
very kindly cleaned off all the moss that had gathered on him. (sob)
Patina, oh yes. I once bought an old sextant on eBay (I am interested in nautical things). It was grubby and tarnished and so I polished it up with Brasso.
ReplyDeleteAnd then I was criticised for destroying the patina
I enjoyed this post, thank you.
What a gorgeous building! I love that. Thanks for more verdigris! I'm a big fan! Just wonderful color...
ReplyDeleteThanks for finding me again! Your photos are beautiful...Vienna is one of my favorite places to visit and I hope to come back soon.
ReplyDeleteWow, that color is spectacular! I lived in an old building in Long Beach, CA years ago which had a copper roof. Beautiful. The color was more green than the one here.
ReplyDeleteNeat pics. I like the red hanging glove too.
LL
gorgeous
ReplyDeleteVienna architecture and sights seem as interesting as Venice. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice coming here on a holiday to view Vienna's architecture!
