CHARLES GRAMLICH, I am not so sure if Viennese are ready to move to the great outdoors with the royal game! They do play it in the coffee houses, where personel waits on them. I can hardly imagine they would renounce their creature comforts to play where no waiter goes. ;-)
Hello Merisi, I've seen blogger discovered you. What took them so long? You are my favorite every day stroll. I hadn't read your sidebar, I hope you don't mind my mensioning your blog and publishing some photos on my blogs. do let me know if you don't want me to. Best Wishes, Irene
WEll I have just by luck found your blog and I love it! I have just moved to Vienna and am loving it. Especially all the cafes. Be sure to look at my blog sometime too! Love Marcel
You have an amazing eye for elegance. Before the technical matter of producing a good photograph, there must exist the eye and the mind, knowing that the scene is one for the camera lens. You have both of these gifts, the technical and the theoretical.
That looks a great place to relax with a coffee.
ReplyDeleteDo they every play chess in the squares in Vienna? I've always pictured that.
ReplyDeleteThank you all! :-)
