And though beaten down by the cold and ice, it still is that amazing color! It's another gray day in Dallas with possibilities of storms and tornados this evening. Wheeee! Thanks for providing me a place to "get away" :D ~Allie
Carol, I keep wondering about the story behind those roses there on the ground, at the edge of the pond. There were three or four, it looked as if someone had thrown them there willfully.
Rose is 'Rose', and nothing can cover down its unique beauty.
ReplyDeleteRose red covered by snow white. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have a rose bud in my garden just waiting, waiting for a touch of warmth
So beautiful! I love the color of the rose covered by the snow.

I'm not that pretty, but I've felt like that on a few "Mornings after."
ReplyDeleteIs that a rose...
ReplyDeleteOr a rip from your pink chiffon ballgown (the train was dragging through the snow after the opera...)
What an elegant photo -
ReplyDeleteThank you all! :-)

Wow! Beautiful -- both the snow and flower.
