Ah, but for whom, we ask?I am astonished that ther are still roses in bloom so close to the steppes of central Europe!
Those pink roses look just like my Eden roses looked in late summer! I can't believe they still are blooming in your little part of the world.
Wandring Star, for all of you to enjoy! :-)Willow,I am surprised too, and touched, when I discover another pocket of hardy roses still blooming.
Thank you for some color on a very grey morning here in Salzburg! The second to last picture is my favorite :-)
Still no snow in Vienna?
That beautiful, blowsy, fading rose. Thankyou for those images.
Catharina,I am glad I brought you some color!Couldn't do it today, gray in gray here too. Andrea Veloux,I am hoping for a White Christmas! :-)Moannie,those very last roses are always the most beautiful, aren't they?
A lingering memory of the colors of summer. Just lovely. We got snow flurries and sleet last night in Dallas....go figure! Two days ago, I was wearing shorts and a sweatshirt!! Happy Wednesday, Merisi.~Allie
Ohhhhh I love these! I am of the mind that roses in this state are sort of "antique-y" looking and quite lovely.
That's the way the roses look on my neighbors bush today. After this mornings frost my camillias have the same tinge to them.
Beautiful roses at this time of year, how wonderful.
Thank you for the winter roses, I bring them in my house!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a note.
