  2. Merisi, I always try to look up at the clouds (trying to name any images that might be recognizable...last one was Geo. Washington, viewed over West Broadway last weekend...a ringer for the image on the currency.)

    I loved your photo of the statue of the Sphinx against the sky. So many questions to ask that Sphinx. Yet, I seem to recall that the answers were subject to interpretation.

  8. Saw The Kiss here... it was SPECTACULAR! I remember the first time I saw the Mona Lisa in Paris and it was somewhat disappointing. Not the case for this Klimmt. The painting is much larger than I imagined it. Loved the gardens too, although it was too cold for more than a quick stroll through.
