A Red Lobster in the Kitchen in July
And other Fine Viennese Moments

There is a lobster in the kitchen

and flowers in the windows

A cloud of bees in Linden trees,

and I walk on hallowed ground

  2. Merisi, you've brought us beautiful, clear photos here.

I also liked the Collins poem and the doorway piano view in your prior post.

The current NYC heat and humidity make your post's fresh air so very welcome to me.

  3. Good to see the bees given how bad they are being attacked by something all over the world.

    1. There's reason to worry here, too, unfortunately.
Certain pesticides seem to be one reason for their plight.

  6. This is my first visit here, and I will check how to follow you. I am following everyone using bloglovin now, what with the rumors about the google blog roll disappearing.
I would love to visit your beautiful Vienna.

  7. Red Lobster - reminded me of the Red Lobster restaurants in the US and Canada and the BEST lobster I ever head at Prince Edward's Island where I spent a few vacation days with my daughter.

    1. Oh yes, after I had typed the words, I remembered the restaurant chain! ;-)
Anne of Green Gables and my dorm roommate from Prince Edwards Island made me dream of visiting there, but I have not made it there, yet.

  8. I love your photos in this post so much, Merisi! Such beautiful colors and oh...I do so miss the linden tree canopy over 20th Street in DC...so fragrant and lovely. Thank you for the memory. I hope to be able to come and experience the ones in Vienna one day.

    Wishing you a wonderful weekend,

    Betty
