Sunday Morning in Vienna
Can't see clearly yet

Sunday Morning
I can't see clearly yet,
can you? ;-)

Sunflower Rising
out of the morning mist

I can see clearly now!
Zwetschkenfleck
My translation:
Plum pizza!
Thin layer of barely sweet yeast dough
and sweet ripe Dawson plums

A bright sunshiny day
to all of you,
Merisi

Is this something baked in Poland, too?

    2. We have a plum cake, but not pizza. I just thought, it was a brilliant idea, because I love plums.

  2. What I wouldn't give for a slice of that Zwetchkenfleck or Zwetcgendatschi as it is known in Germany! I am surprised that that Plums are already in season, I would have thought at the end of June . . . oh cripes! it is the end of June!!! Wherever did the month disappear to??

    1. It's a repost, from August, Arija.
Sometimes I feel like making old posts reappear, and if only to remind me of the moments those images were captured. Images engage my grey cells like nothing else can. ;-)

    1. Betty,
I'll see if I manage to bake one to share the recipe. It works very well with apricots, too.
