Sugar Bowl, Glass of Water with a Spoon
How to measure Time in Vienna

A Glass of Water
with a spoon,
a silver sugar bowl,
a newspaper -
what time is it?
Hint:
We are talking
Vienna Time!

*

And the correct answer is:

"Coffee Time"
What else?
A perfect cup of
Viennese Mélange -
served and savoured
Sunday morning
at Royal and Imperial Confectioners
CH. DEMEL' S SÖHNE GmbH
Kohlmarkt 14

Now, anybody who'd like to
have a slice of apple strudel?

  5. Marie-Noëlle,
    you have the right attitude,
you'd feel right at home here in Vienna!
    French newspapers
would be served with your coffee, imagine. ;-)

    Hilary,
you are right, coffee time! :-)

    Amelia,
it's true, anytime is coffee time! :-)

    Sam, excellent answer! :-)
The sugar bowl is Demel's and you can purchase it (I like to think they have brought it back for sale because of my pestering them about it! I own one, of course.)

  6. Willow,
of course, morning (morning is whenever you chose to, isn't it?). ;-)

    пепеляшка,
    welcome, thank you!

    Charles Gramlich,
7 would be a bit early, seeing as there is first the walk through the rose garden (and taking of 300 photos), then Demel opens only at 9 (somebody has to bake all those pastries before!). ;-)
