Evensong In Vienna's Rose Garden

Golden Hour
on the first
summer evening

The sun low
on the horizon

the air so mild
and mellow,
filled with rose fragrance

and then
churchbells start calling
for Evensong

I did, I did! And it was so refreshing!

I had walked down from the Mölker Bastei (previous post) to visit "my" rose garden.

  5. Moannie,
it was just around 6pm and the sun was low. I love the delicate transillumination of the rose leaves when photographed against the light at this time of day. The light is soft and warm.

I, instead started going through your older posts and stayed far longer than I planned/ I really love what I found here. I'll be back as often as I can. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary
