  3. You had me at 'chicks' kid. I knew peeps would be in there. Were you here in DC for the first annual Peeps contest held by the WPost? A sister was going to enter it with me this year & backed out. So I'm not gonna win this year. I'm already planning an elaborate scenario for next year. Thanks for the inspiration.

    ciao bella

  6. Well, from these pictures Merisi, it looks as if winter is on the run.

I love all the images ... but somehow keep being drawn back to the wonders of Demel's. I am loyal!

I also applaud your reference to Rikiel, via H&M, taking over a renowned space. Thus it is over the globe. Wish we could invite Darwin over for a melange at Demel's. Gosh, if it comes to it, I wish that I could sample that coffee.

You bet, the Washington Post Peep Contest, of course I am familiar with it - looked at the past years' winners just the other day!

Thank you all for your kind comments,
I really, really read and enjoy them all,
if only I had more time to answer each and every single one and visit your blogs more frequently.
Alas, tomorrow school starts, and I am all jittery,
just like on my first day of elementary school!

A wonderful day to all of you,
    Merisi

  12. You just regaled me a feast of colour today. My palate feels grateful for this invasion of hues. But my favourite photo was the last one. I am a cyclist and I love that dark marble grey. :-)

    Greetings from London.
