  1. Is the Wien sky still blue like this?
Good friends of our, best friends I should say, landed in Wien today :-)

  2. Today, strong winds have brought gray skies, unfortunately, the temperature has plummeted too: Very depressing, I am sorry for your friends!

  3. Dear Readers:
    What hath Merisi wrought,
    you may ask yourself,
seeing as this post is dated on the 15th,
while the first two comments have been written on the 14th! I I apologize to Britt-Arnhild - the October 14th post was meant to auto-post, but somehow I managed to make it disappear instead.

It is snowing here in Vienna today.
    I am shocked.
I wanted to hold on to the beautiful warm summer-like autumn of these last weeks!

A wonderful day to all of you,
    Merisi

  5. Loved the readers in the park with the smell of roses to enhance the stories they were so engrossed in. Nice.

  6. I am sorry it is snowing, but would appreciate if you would send it here (today's high 89!). The reading benches are lovely, although I suspect a bit wet and cold today ;)

  7. The last picture is ghostlike...I'm not sure that was the intention...but if so, brilliant work.

    Sandi,
the image at the end was the last we saw of summer-like autumn temperatures! ;-)

  11. It's cold here too, though not snowing - just raining. What beautiful roses!

  12. Beautiful roses and the people sitting in the park reminds me of a time not too long ago where I sat in a similar park and watched life walk along the path.

  13. I love Carolyn Parker sentence, and the roses are reading the sun ... The end of september seemed to be warmed

  14. “On borrowed time” – I am not sure how to read this sentence – is it for the rose only or also for the senior citizens on the chairs in the park? In any case the rose has a lovely old-fashioned air.
