Against the Dearth of Monday Poems

Monday
is where Sunday's dreams are echoing

in the high-ceilinged chambers of your mind

Sunday's Amsel sings sweet in lilac trees
fading petals of beloved memories.

  3. You do it every time...take my breath away...absolutely stunning pictures. I felt I was inside a wedding cake-those filmy drapes, how good they would look in my windows.

Tell me, are you a full time proffesional artist ['cos that is what you are] or do you run a house, family kids etc.? I ask only because you give us these stunning images every day so you must walk a fair bit, or maybe you cycle and do chores at night.
No need to answer, lets keep the mystery. XXX

  4. VICKI LANE,
    architecture at it's best,
    isn't it?

    SANDI MCBRIDE,
I long to go back there, to get lost in the magic of this palace and its gardens!

    MOANNIE,
as I said before, this palace is sheer magic, breathtaking beauty indeed!

As to your question, there are some dreams hidden somewhere, and a city that is conducive to walking, thank heaven, otherwise, how could one find so casually so much beauty?

  8. Very good, poem. It encapsulated that feeling of trying to hold on to the blissful, carefree feeling of a warm Sunday spent in total relaxation. And these beautiful pics give me a wonderful idea for a divider I can use for my little home.
