Duck Tales. A Riddle in Pictures.

What Is This Duck Thinking?
Any clue?

Swanlake
Little yellow duck with little black book?
A Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky biography, by any chance?

A Musician
Ready to sing of snow to come?
What do you think?

I Leave You
a Kleiner Brauner mit Milchschaum,
to mull over these pictures:
What am I trying to tell you?

The pictures have been captured
at Buchhandlung Berger, Kohlmarkt,
at Lobmeyr's, Kärntner Strasse,
and, - where else? -, Demel's.

  1. The little duck looks like he has a laptop! And I would take that gorgeous porcelain musician any day.

  6. What are you trying to tell us? Hmmmm, I'm HORRIBLE at riddles but will keep twisting my brain until the answer is revealed. Music, musicians, Swan Lake, Vienna....I'm clueless. Maybe it's something deeper than the obvious? Hope you'll reveal the answer soon. :D

  8. Willow,
    no laptop.
Waht the little duck is wearing ain't no thinking cap! ;-)

    tut-tut,
I am sure the gardeners are covering the roses before Friday night.
Duckie's having other thought on his mind, though! ;-)

    Vickie,
    you are right! ;-)

    LDahl,
maybe they were about the only ones that I could safely show you, without giving away what's all over town? ;-)

  9. David McMahon,
    must have been,
what with Ebenezer being way to scroogy!

    Allie,
have you ever heard of any other ballet by that great composer Tchaikovsky?

    Steph,
    I check the weather forecast,
and the answer is yes, Friday night! Duckie's thinking of something else, something that in some parts of the world happens in the middle of summer. ;-)

And I can soon not hide it any longer! ;-)

  10. N.B.,
the answer, "Euro 5.99 would have looked better on the price tag!", is wrong. And no, he's not been trying to convert that into Dollars either. ;-)
