  1. 'Le muffin': wonderful. (Obviously the Viennoise prefer French to English) [Only joking].

And the shine on that glass! . . .

I would want to spend the entire day there.

  3. @ Sally Crawford:
I took these photos at "Le Bol", a small café-bistro, therefore the French names. ;-)

  8. No words necessary! My mouth is watering at these photos, and the languid relaxing time they promise, leafing through international newspapers and having a second cup....the phrase "taking my time" comes most definitely to mind.

Reassuring that I am not the only one running a little behind! Have fun playing with the memories! :-)

    @ MELANGE:
You will have to tell me how those muffins taste, I haven't had one yet. They do look very tempting, don't they? ;-)

    @ LAVINIA LADYSLIPPER:
"Languid relaxing" - yes, that would be the dream come true, for me too! ;-)

  16. @ BRIDGET:
That's interesting, all I do is trying to transport my catch of the day. Maybe my days are different? ;-)

    @ Paris Breakfasts:
Sometimes more is said without words (do you remember MINA singing "Parole Parole Parole"?).

  18. Your photos are always so beautifully composed.

I think I would like to have one of those glass bells under which Les Muffins are being displayed, I just like the way it looks!

You make vineyards look so enchanting; I especially like the second shot with the vine or tree branches framing the top of it. Brilliant...

You are inspiring me in my own photo taking, and I'm learning a thing or two from you. Thank you!

  19. I spent several happy hours passing a wet October afternoon at Le Bol with a friend in the fall of 2006. Your pictures brought me back. I miss that cafe, and that day. Thank you.
