Cloudy with a Chance of Rain

Cloudy
With a chance of rain

Yes, Virginia
This creeper is all over me!

Aerosmith Pink
It's like red but not quite

Raindrops
Keep falling on my emerald foliage

Butterfly
Spread your wings and fly!

Wet Yellow
Singing in the Rain

Living Precariously

Clinging to the Threshold
Wanna come in?

Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too,--
While barred clouds bloom the soft-dying day,
And touch the stubble-plains with rosy hue;
Then in a wailful choir the small gnats mourn
Among the river sallows, borne aloft
Or sinking as the light wind lives or dies;
And full-grown lambs loud bleat from hilly bourn;
Hedge-crickets sing; and now with treble soft
The redbreast whistles from a garden-croft,
And gathering swallows twitter in the skies.

From
"To Autumn"
by John Keats

  1. How can you do that? Take a dull, cloudy day and turn it in to something special that way? I have no excuses left now (darn), I rarely get my camera outdoors in the winter..

  2. All I did was walking to the corner grocery store. *smile*
    I took the photos within the half block around my home.
    So, I am telling you, get out that camera! :-)

  6. So old man winter is on his way south. He has been on a short visit here twice already, but left again.

    Today is finally a day without rain, and I am doing some much needed garden work.

  7. I have to go to the park to find evergreen trees: the pines, the spruces and the cedars.

    They have the best smell: you are lucky to have them so close to home.

  8. I just planted daffodil bulbs yesterday...thinking of spring already. It is cold here today. I was so hoping for one more really nice day before it turns ugly. Maybe I'll get my wish yet, just not today.

    The October rose is one of the most beautiful rose pictures I've seen. A perfect rose.
