  2. Love the ducks. [They look so much like Canadian ones.]
The swans. The symmetry. The elegance.
    Like croissants, with wings.
    Beautiful, Merisi.
YOUR CAMERA OWNS THE BEST EYE!

  4. Ah! Look at all your sun-drenched photos! Love all the roses and dog-walking, but especially the row-of-swans!

It *did* get sunny here again today, but it is definitely fallish - cool, crisp and chilly if in the shade.

I'm trying to enjoy and absorb every second of sun we get - it will be gone for the winter soon...

  5. That's WAM by the -keller door.

It looks like he's being used as a doorstop.

    Wouldn't that be lovely?

    Thank you, thank you! :-)
    A very fast eye, I'd say. ;-)

Tara, fall is here also in the air. The nights are getting very cool (yesterday morning I returned with really cold hands from my early morning walk with Max). The wonderful part of the autumn sun rays is that one can actually enjoy sitting in the sun for a while. I cannot imagine to live through fall and winter with the sun gone for most of the time, I have been living in southern climates most of my life.

    SALLY CRAWFORD:
What were they thinking, creating a doorstop with the likeness of WAM? This wine cellar belongs to a Mozart fan club, so to speak, with an interesting sense of humor. ;-)

    PARIS PARFAIT:
    You are very welcome!

  8. Oh, I definitely forgive them. :))

Wine and Mozart make perfect companions.

Every time they open or close the cellar door they are reminded of him.

I can tell you that I have a photograph of Beethoven upstairs, stuck on the wall at the back of what used to be the fireplace, the heart of the house - he is my house god.
