  4. Thank you all so much for your sweet comments. Believe it or not, I missed all of you too! I had the most wonderful trip, though. Still haven't counted the lakes I have been to (at least a dozen, there are so many in the Alps), the different mountains and great places in between were incredibly beautiful. And the town of Tegernsee, betweet Lake Tegern (Tegernsee, both a lake and a small town), is not only devinely beautiful, but is dotted with beautiful rosebushes, even rose gardens. Have pictures, will share! :-)
I will need a little time, because there are so many things waiting to be taken care off first. See you all soon again,
    Merisi

You know me well, don't you? *smile*
I had all of the above, and more.
A real summertime mountain and lakes dream. :-)

    paris cuppa:
Is it the fact that Americans like to move around with their coffee, that they use mostly mugs? (It took me a long time to not ask for a porcelain or china mug at Starbucks, since the baristas always gave me that quizzical look, expressing even more puzzlement after I repeated my request, until finally stating, "You mean coffee for here?". Well, bingo! *chuckle*

    Simon:
You are not alone! Happens to postal clerks all the time, who then happily send my mail over to AustrALia. *smile*
They do sell T-Shirts here that say "There are no kangaroos in Austria!". Apparently some visitors expect them in the Alps, and I have been even asked about the best reefs for scuba diving. ;-)

    Bendtherulz:
Yes, I enjoyed those beautiful vistas to the fullest. And I am glad to be back and now I enjoy your always so kind comments. Thank you. :-)

  10. I am in love with that second photo in this series.
They are all beautiful, but that one is wonderful on a mountainous scale!
NOW YOU MAKE ME WANT TO GO OUT FOR A GOURMET COFFEE.
My "view" will not be nearly as nice as any of these.

  11. What a view while drinking coffee or anything else for that matter. The last photo with the rose is incredibly lovely.

I LOVE the Lake Rose -- the contrast of the abstract green patterns in the water with the pink rose -- magical.
