They usually need at least two years to establish themselves and bloom as profusely as we love to see them (or so I was told once by a gardener back in DC - where peonies flower abundantly in gardens, but cost a fortune in the flower shop, about 5 US Dollars a bud). This year it grew again and now has two buds on it...round hard buds that could just be pink. I think...only think mind you, that I bought it about two years ago, plunged it into a pot and forgot all about it.
