As the Crow flies
Morning in the City

As the Crow flies
Viennese Hooded Crow
flying into the morning fog
8:00:36 AM

I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us -- don't tell!
They'd banish -- you know!

How dreary to be somebody!
How public like a frog
To tell one's name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!

Emily Dickinson

  4. Can't say I'm a particular fan of that poem. Definitely kind of weird. :)

    1. It's very tongue-in-cheeky, isn't it?

  5. Merisi, I think that the flyaway bird and the poem are fine companions. xo
