    1. Would have called it a tartlet, but that would have been too big an understatement, wouldn't it? ;-)

  7. How fortunate to be able to grow apricot trees in Vienna! Do you grow and harvest the apricots yourself or is this taken in an orchard?

    1. The apricots for my tart came from the region around Vienna. The tree in the picture grows in the front yard of a house not far from Schönbrunn, in the 13th district.

But in all seriousness... all I can think of is.... "I want that tart!"

  9. I don't think I have ever seen an apricot tree. Love seeing that and then the fruit in a delicious looking dish that follows.

    1. Apricot trees are a sight to behold, especially with ripe apricots and in the spring, in all their blossom finery.

  11. The tree seems to lean from the weight of the fruit. You will have to pick some to relieve it of it's burden. Oh I will help by eating some if I could fly from California, but alas I am earth bound.

    1. Unfortunately, G+ seems to have to decided all members of the human race (and beyond?) are open game. I am sure you are right, but I will not become an active G+ member. Can spread myself only so thin .... ;-) Cheers!
