Grand and very much alive
Viennese Treasures

Pink and Black Grandezza
Pink, 512 years later -
Skateboarding,
after all those years

Almost Savile Row
Since 1836,
not in Mayfair, though

The Grand Hotel
Not the Budapest,
but grand it is

Any guesses?

  1. Based on the gold around the entrance my guess would be the Grand Hotel Wien (which is a beautiful hotel).

    1. I am sure you have at least walked by the hotel during your visit, if not sat down and enjoyed the famous view at the back of the X house. ;-)

  2. Merisi, I'm going to let someone else enjoy finding the answer - it's too soon to end the fun.

Now that I'm all grown up and can manage it, I really should visit the city again and spend a few nights at the mystery hotel.

    1. Definitely, time to return!
I suppose you have read Thomas Bernhard's "Wittgenstein's Nephew" and about Paul's "back of the Opera house" ;-)

  3. My guess is the Sacher, but only because the doorman's uniform looks familiar.
