Vienna in Spring

The Art of Juxtaposing

a contemporary building not yet 25 years old,

  1. I love the old..Your juxtaposition is "formidable".
So anxious for our trees to bloom..
Everything looks so lovely there.A juxtaposition:)

  2. Stephansplatz, I can never make up my mind if I like/dislike the old/new here. Some days it looks a hideous clash, other days a bright inspiration.
Lovely to see the colours, the brightness, the eye for detail in these pictures.

  4. I can only imagine the look of surprise on the maidens face upon opening her eyes to the 'new' spectacle. The wonderful perspective of your photo gives the impression of that feeling. Amazing architecture, old and new.

  8. Lovely shots. The world would be very boring without the ornate beauty of old buildings.
