A rainy Morning in May
Viennese Escapes: Vorarlberg

"Ging heut Morgen übers Feld"
I went this morning over the field,
Dew still hung on the grass;

The happy finch spoke to me:
"Hey you! Right? Good morning!

Hey, right, you,
Isn't it a lovely world, lovely world?

  2. I didn't like rainy weather, but it looks great in your picture! :) But it should get a lil warmer for sure. It was a lil too cold today.

  3. I adore you photography, you have the gift to make everything ephemeral and romantic.
    In May I would love to walk on the dewy grass barefoot and feel it's coolness in the early morning, talk to the birds and flowers and be embraced by that magical light.

  4. Love your walking over the field, Merisi.
    These flowers and the alley are really beautiful!

    Thanks for the congratulation to my son and a very belatedly happy birthday to your son too! All the best to him and to you too. :)

  5. Merisi, lovely to see your golden greenery, and the contrast with the lavender pathway in the last photo is color magic.

    NYC is now experiencing waves of dramatic grey skies with varying opaque qualities, interspersed with thunderstorms, thunderless showers, glimpses of peek a boo blue sky, and lots of umbrella-challenging wind.

    Results...chilly again. Yesterday's tee shirt weather is but a memory. I am now grateful for the apartment's hissing radiators. Again. This sort of thing is traditional around Memorial Day.

  7. The trees along the path make the path worthwhile.

  8. Perhaps the best recording of this, imo, is Dietrich Fischer-Diskau. Superb line and interpretation. exctly as the photos are.
