  4. Mmmmm, strudel. Save some for me. Makes me yearn for my Austrian grandmother's strudel. She used to bring some for us every time she visited.

  5. If it's true that Mozart was a bit naughty and loved a good prank (this is how he was portrayed in the movie "Amadeus"), couldn't his ghost just snatch that plastic letter box off the beautiful gate at night?

  7. Why would anyone want to wait for the appearance of anyone else, if they but knew that Merisi was there!

You do well to encourage me to renew my vintage early bird habits.

  8. These pictures are pristine, as always. Visual poetry.
The one with the barstools, I want to be sitting there, and have them full of cold beer -- a straw extruding, bent towards my yapper!
When I was a young 'un, my beer of choice was a [Canadian] brand called Old Vienna.
    Not kidding.
    Ol' V, for short.
    Ahhh... memories....

  9. How interesting, the junk mail holder. It takes away a little of the beauty of the gate but I know it's necessary.

The tomato vinegar sounds interesting. Hmmm...

  10. Hello Merisi, Love the gate, shame about the junk mail holder, never seen one of those before. Oysters and champange or cafe and cake ... mmmmm hard decision .. depends on what time of day it is . I would have to try all :-)

  12. "Gräfin vom Naschmarkt" is a tourist scam. They are really bad.
