    1. It would not be wrong to call Hietzing a garden district.

  7. Merisi, this bluebird house is so charming. I wonder now about its interior's charms....

I would like to imagine the bluebird finding the perfect quiet moment, when no photographers might be in the neighborhood, and then...quickly popping over to sample an apricot!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the apricot pizza in the prior post surely looks scrumptious, and that I am curious about you buttermilk squash soup recipe. Is a blender involved?

Our New York summer has now briefly reverted to a more manageable heat level. We can now breathe more easily! xo

    1. Frances,
I think the bluebird is not too often in a photographer's eye, it's on a very quiet street. The apricots were very tempting.
I used an immersion blender for the buttermilk squash soup (I cooked the onions and squash in the microwave).
We are back to cooler nights too.
      Stay cool,
      Merisi

    2. Merisi, how wonderful to know that the bluebird lives on a quiet street.

Thank you so much for the soup details. I love all the summer squash and might have to try some version of my own.

Today was a truly perfect summer day. xo
