  1. Dear Merisi, I beg to defer, all these are moments of GREAT importance: reading old books that might lead you to London or Paris, buying beautiful flowers for someone special or even for yourself, listening to Chopin, carefully selecting an outfit for a special occasion, waiting for guests.
;-) I know you meant it with tongue in cheek.

The fabric of life is woven of little things and moments, isn't it?

  2. Life is indeed woven of the little moments and little things and I do love your captures for the day, Merisi! They bring lovely memories of the years I lived in Europe! Hope your weekend is going well!

  5. A lovely melange, and so colourful to my eyes accustomed to the grey skies we've had for so long.

  6. Like a sweet little pattern, leading to my soul, from the old travel books, to the woman carrying fresh cut flowers, the empty chair..I do believe that I see my name written on one...I can dream! Lovely shares as always Merisi. Have a beautiful evening and a beautiful week~

Loved the Baedeckers --something one always read about in EM Forster novels!

  11. Those old Guidebooks make me think of a more adventurous world, when everything wasn't known.
