Land of Big Sky and Snow into late Spring
Viennese Escapes: Damüls in Vorarlberg

Spring arrives late
in the mountains of Damüls

Almost mid-May, and there are still
fields of snow left on the hills of
the snowiest village in the world

Soon, though, the last remnants
of its 30 feet or so of snow
will be gone, just in time for spring
to head towards summer

  1. Very nice mountain landscape. Love the church tower.

  2. I like these landscapes of the wonderful Austria, and snow ! I like the church, with to expain in english, (I tracuce the french expression) : "tower at the top of onion" This is very characteristic of Austria and it is very beautiful.
Thank you Merisi for these wonderful photos, when do you go to Demel's for coffee and pastries ? :D I like when you share coffee moments with us.
