Coffee, Anyone?
Postcards from Abroad

Imagine,
this is your baked apple
with vanilla ice cream
and caramel made with salted butter,
the French way,

and this is your coffee ...

I also captured the seaside view for you,
alas, you'll have to come over to Facebook,
Blogger would have none of it!

  7. Delicious! By the way Santa Giulia of Corsica is the Patron Saint of my hometown, Livorno.

  8. I've been away from the blogosphere for a while. And while I was gone? I missed your blog very, VERY much.

I think yours is the only blog I've actually dreamed about....

Thanks for making coming back worthwhile.

  9. I never had an apple served this way. Now I won't be able to sleep because I will be imagining how it might taste. Missed your wicked temptations recently :-)

  10. The apple is a work of art...I like the way it was sliced in that ruffly sort of way. Baked apples are so delicious. Well, I must look for you on FB and see the seaside view as well!

  13. I've just eaten breakfast but oh my....that apple looks delightful.
I'm afraid my cooking and baking lack the finesse and mastery of this pastery.
