  3. Magnificent patina and color on the casa!

Pomegranates are showing up in our stores now; a bit more common now that there's agood market for the juice. -- I love putting the seeds on green salads -- with a bit of gorgonzola and a light vinaigrette.

  4. Merisi, it's funny to see this pomegranate in your post. It was just the other day that a magnificent pom appeared on the countertop workspace in the shop's office/kitchen.

It was a beauty. Everyone who passed by admired it, and wondered whose it was. How it got to be there. I never learned the solution to that mystery, but know that I will soon be seeking out a pom for my own.

    Mary Howell Cromer,
the ones I bring home usually dry out before I get to eat them. Must change that!

    Vicki Lane,
this sounds so delicious, will try to remember it next time I get ahold of a pomegranate (I am sitting at my desk on a rainy Sunday morning, studying, far from sunny Italy).

    Frances,
what a wonderful, thoughtful way to brighten one's day! :-)

  6. I wonder whether the Italian call that paint shade "molegrano" (pomegranate)...
Oh, that blue sky !!! Just divine ... especially when the dominant colour is grey ... (sigh)
