Summer 2008

  1. The first shot of that lovely rose looks to be dusted with rouge powder...sublime.

  2. I am enchanted by the speckled rose!
(and have just about settled on a Nikon D90 with 18-200 VR lens. Getting up my nerve to spend the money.)

  3. I'll take one of those espressos over ice cream! Mmm.

Yes, he really did find a lovely vintage wrench! Pretty lines...a work of art. :^)

  4. Ah Merisi, on this hot August evening in New York, how refreshing to browse through these deliciously refreshing Viennese recipes.

And then. You quote Mungo Jerry, and I am transported in my own private time machine to sometime in the early 1970's. There are not that many other folks who still know that song. Or am I wrong. xo

  5. How beautiful is that rose!!? Just stunning!

  6. Ah! Soda and lemon or lime is the summer drink of choice at this ranch!

  7. I love that Operetta Rose. The drinks are not shabby either.

  8. the summer in Vienna is such a wonderful thing!

  9. The blush is on the roses like autumn is in our breezes here....
    lovely pictures!

  10. I might try making myself one of those iced coffees tomorrow. How decadent!

I can almost smell those roses . . . umm.
