  3. That second shot made me look twice -- it seemed that the sun was setting too near to the shore. But it was only a beach ball after all.

    The Retired one,
thank you - that gentleman knows how to enjoy a good summer day! ;-)

    Sandi McBride,
    you are right,
we are all looking for comfort in the shade during those long blessed days of August, aren't we? :-)

    Vicki Lane,
    *smile*
I simply loved the sight of that couple!

    simon,
    do we have beaches?
    Yes, Sir,
    too many to count!
Even right in the city, sandy beaches, sailing to one's heart content, windsurfing, you ask, we got it! ;-)

    starrybluesky,
I agree! Even right in the city there are places where I have to remind myself that I am not in Rome, such is the mediterranean feel.

    Dear readers,

I would like you to know that my comments are not being "moderated" because I feel I have to, but because I value each and every one of your comments and as far as I know, the moderation mode is the only way I can be sure I do not miss any of your comments!

I started to "moderate" comments when some robot started putting dozens of comments on my blog, and none relating to its content but unwanted commerce. Only when I started moderating did I realize what a good tool it was to actually never ever lose any of your comments, even those on older posts.

Therefore, I am holding on to "moderate", hoping you do not mind.

With my very best wishes to all of you for a good start into a wonderful week,
    Merisi
