the night is lit up by thorns, and the thunder
of leaves, once so quiet within the bushes,
rumbling at our heels.

  3. Merisi, thank you for your beautiful posts this week! I looked at them all and their beauty made me feel like I was far away on vacation and THAT felt so good, if only for a minute!

  5. That's a new and unforgettable way to think about roses: a storm of roses, the night is lit up by thorns, the thunder of leaves...rumbling at our heels. Wonderful!
