  5. DARYL,
I am still here. My friend had to leave. ;-)

    PARIS BREAKFAST,
for 6 Euros 10 cent you get two cofee drinks: a cappuccino with Schlag (whipped cream) and an espresso with milk foam (my favorite!). Newspapers in three languages and all the quiet you may desire included. ;-)

  7. Whenever I see those photos of café, I just can't help thinking buying a ticket and going there right away!

It's really a simple happiness to have a cup of coffee and enjoy my whole day at a quiet café.....Milchkaffee is my favorite, by the way ;-)

  8. Hi Merisi!

I like the picture with just the hands. It's a good composition and could very well hold a good story, as well!

  10. How cool. I love how your pictures captured them trying to be alone and capture some quiet.

  12. Eugenia,
when will you be landing? ;-)
I have never tried Milchkaffee. Would that be Caffellatte?

    Bruce,
those hands made me think of the Raymond Carver short story "Cathedral". Unfortunately none of my Carver collections includes that one.

    Steph,
I was thinking of you yesterday, at Hawelka!

  17. After I finish my thesis, I think..... :-p

The difference between Milchkaffee and Kaffee Latte is that Milchkaffee contains half milk, half coffee and Kaffee latte contains 2/3 milk, 1/3 coffee.

I love both of them! <3

  19. Hi Merisi - looks like you put your time and your Euros to good use.

Not having blogged for about three weeks, I now realize I have been suffering from gorgeous photography deprivation! It's lovely to come back and visit you again.
