    thank you, Michele! :-)

    sue,
that fountain is finally working again - it had been wrapped ever since I moved to Vienna.

    parisbreakfast,
you think I could be in trouble with the Austrian Tourist Board?
The light is extraordinary right now, wouldn't your painter's eye agree? I took these images and the ones under "Evensong" on the same evening, an exquisite Golden Hour.

  7. Fat, frumpy and fifty,
yes, I shot those images with a digital SRL. While my old little Sony Cybershot and the Lumix produce brilliant pictures, the SRL's manual settings and viewfinder give you more power creating the image you "see".

  15. lovely - each with it's own 'musik'.
I'm especially partial to the 2nd photo - just love the facade, the angle & one open window pane.
My mom's side is Serbian and her family's saint (celebrated with Slava) is St. Michael.
